Last day’s it’s been really bad weather. A lot of dense clouds hanging around the peaks, snow and above all very warm temperatures 🙁
Rumor has it that there was a mother bear with two 1 year old cubs near the moreen of the Von Postbreen, so we went to check it out with some friends. The only thing we could find were a lot of ringed seals and stormy clouds. This weekend is the last possibility to see a bear before my course starts, so hopefully there is twitch or a miracle 🙂
Today I did some birding in the fjords. In the morning, I discovered the first 2 King Eiders in the Adventfjorden and during the afternoon there was a large flock of 53 King eiders passing through Isfjorden. Diversity is getting higher and higher!
